Chris Kelly, Parliamentary Spokesman, today joined the Remembrance parade starting at the Kingswinford Royal British Legion on Summerhill and marching up to St. Mary's Church for a Remembrance Sunday service.
Chris, who completed his military training with the Oxford University Officers' Training Corp, said: "For elected politicians the most important decision they can ever take is the decision to send our troops to war and into harm's way. That is why I consider it to be so important to recognise Remembrance Sunday as a mark of respect to those who have fallen in armed conflict in defence of freedom and liberty. We in Britain owe an enormous debt of gratitude to our military and our military families, past and present."
