Chris Kelly was elected as Conservative MP for Dudley South, with a majority of 4,000, at the General Election held on 6 May 2010 achieving a 9.51% swing from Labour. Chris is now inviting expressions of interest from residents who would like to be considered for employment as a constituency caseworker. I am naturally delighted that David Cameron is our new Conservative Prime Minister. The new Cabinet contains so many people of exceptional ability and I am delighted to see my colleagues, the Rt. Hon. William Hague MP, the Rt. Hon. George Osborne MP, the Rt. Hon. Ken Clarke QC MP, the Rt. Hon. Francis Maude MP, the Rt. Hon. Theresa May MP & the Rt. Hon. Andrew Mitchell MP, all of whom visited Dudley in recent months and years, appointed to Cabinet positions. It was an honour to be in Committee Room 14 at 10 p.m. on Tuesday night when David and Samantha Cameron entered the room less than an hour after they had entered 10 Downing Street for the first time. The reception the new Prime Minister and his wife received was absolutely tremendous.
